Brainstorming
I do limited-scope work with organizations and individuals seeking to make an impact. With extensive experience in a variety of fields— including science, environment, human social behavior, fundraising, business, tech, history and art, I bring a depth of practical knowledge and fresh creative perspective to your venture.
The project must meet two of these three criteria to be considered: great cause, great compensation, great people.
Writing
Compelling and effective web and print content, including interviews, fundraising material, thought-provoking articles, speeches, white papers, and more.
Occasionally: resumes, query letter consulting, brand identification.
Editing
Developmental editing (do your premise and structure work—and if not, why?)
Copyediting (reviewing written material for vibrancy, effectiveness, factual errors, repetitions)
I accept very few clients at one time so as to provide excellent service. You may have to wait several months for an opening.
(Note: I do not do proofreading / line editing except on a case-by-case basis.

The world’s getting hotter. Strategic placement of area-appropriate trees helps keep your home cooler in summer, brighter in winter, save on utility costs, improve market value, and just make your living space more beautiful and comfortable. I work on an hourly basis with individual homeowners as well as providing add-on services to landscape architects and planners.
